This is a single movement concerto for B-flat clarinet and string orchestra. The first thematic material is based on an ancient classical Chinese tune combined with a modern musical language. The famous folk song, “Jasmine flower” is also heard in a surprisingly imaginative way. The music reflects the beauty of nature, the beauty of romance and the beauty of love.
